Payment
- Buyer adds to cart and pays Miss Money Penny via secure Paypal gateway (a Paypal account is not required)
- Miss Money Penny advises Seller by email that their item has sold and gives Buyer details to arrange dispatch
- Seller posts item to Buyer
- Buyer confirms receipt of item and leaves feedback
- Miss Money Penny then pays Seller , less 20% commission of total sale amount, into bank account # as supplied.
- Payments are made each Friday after the item has been confirmed received by the Buyer)
- Feedback goes into ‘Social Life & Death’ section on Miss
Money Penny site. Frequent negative feedback results in that Seller
being banned from selling on the site.
How do I describe my product?
Please make sure you make your product description as succinct and add
all the neccessary detail. You are effectively writing an ad for this
item so try and make it appealing! Did you buy it and never wear it? Say
so! Did you get it somewhere amazing? Is it limited edition? Did it
sell out in store
Please be
clear on the colour - some images don't show this well and we need avoid buyer disappointment if it arrives and is not as expected.
Add measurements - this really helps avoid toing and froing if the
buyer has a question and is unsure. We want to avoid them having to do
hard work and make it as simple as possible for them to buy. if the
sizing is not standard (Eg it is mentioned as a Size 3) make sure you
also put the standard equivalent - eg Size 12.
Add care instructions - eg Dry Clean only, hand wash only
Description definitions
- Good – has been worn, may have a few flaws (which need to
be mentioned) but is otherwise in sound structural condition. Refe
mainly to Vintage and older items.
- Excellent – Has been worn and washed or dry cleaned but retains near original appearance and structure
- As New – probably only slipped on once or twice and you couldn’t really tell if it had ever been worn
- New No Tags (NWOT) – has never been worn but the tags have been removed
- Brand New New With Tags (BNWT) – Never been worn – tags still attached
Please note: We do not accept anything in ‘Fair’ condition. Any samples, seconds with flaws must be clearly described.
Postage costs
- Buyer pays delivery costs which are set rates at the checkout. Buyer chooses Australia or International delivery.
- Rates for delivery within Australia are a flat $12 Express Post envelope or satchel per item (as they usually come from separate sellers).
- Items must be sent via Express Post and the seller must advise Miss Money Penny of the tracking number
in order for her to confirm the item has been delivered and the seller
can get paid (otherwise we can;t know if it's actually ever been sent or
received)
The seller is reimbursed for postage - less 20% and is responsible for any amount over $12. Pleas price your item accordingly if you think postage will go over $12.
- International Postage rate is $24 for Registered Post and
delivery is made in 10 days. It is likely that international orders
could attract a customs fee, tariff and/or import duty applicable to the
country of entry. These are to be paid directly by the customer and
Miss Money Penny is not responsible for these charges.See Australia Post
website at www.auspost.com.au and go to Express Post rates. It is essential that Seller uses Express Post in order to track delivery and receipt of goods in order to get paid.
Sending to buyer
- Ensure item is dry-cleaned and in the condition you would like to receive it
- Wrap in white tissue paper and place in a plain bag or box - it must look stylish
- Add a print out of the Miss Money Penny Seller Note (which will be emailed with your order) thanking the buyer
Feedback / Disputes /Returns
The store runs on the
goodwill of the seller. If a buyer receives
an item which is not in great condition and is unhappy they may supply
feedback to appear in the ‘Social Death’ section. Conversely, if you are
thrilled with your item by all means report in via Contact Us
The Buyer is also obliged to be honest – if the issue is not a quality
one (eg the size is wrong) then the buyer can re-list the item
themselves
If Buyer is unhappy with item and wishes to re-list – Free Of Charge / No Commission to Miss Money Penny
