Miss Money Penny was an official partner of the Melbourne Spring Fashion festival this year and held a fabulous event at The Longroom in the Georges Building on Collins St, Melbourne.

 

MERRY GO ROUND A luxury shopping event for lovers of fabulous pre-owned designer clothing and accessories.

As part of Melbourne Spring Fashion week, Makeovers, Manicures and Martinis and Miss Money Penny teamed up to create a luxury shopping event that combined mini pampering treatments with a personal styling session and an elegant showing of hand-picked pre owned designer items. 

Customers forgot about getting all hot and bothered wading through Op shops, markets and Ebay to get a great designer find. They sipped bubbles, and Miss Money Penny put together a salon style showing of top end pre loved designer pieces whilst the team from Makeovers, Manicures and Martinis treated them to a manicure, massage and make-up consultation. They also received a styling consultation courtesy of Bronwyn Fraser from the Style Establishment.

This is the smartest, fastest and most relaxing way to shop for items that are Brand New With Tags (BNWT), Just Slipped On or Vintage Designer fashion; for a fraction of the retail price. Shoppers liked what they saw and purchased items after the show.  Even if they didn’t find something they’d like to buy they left refreshed and revived from pampering treatments and were full of ideas for new ways to wear items already in their wardrobes.

Admission was $70 and included:

• A glass of bubbles and canapés on arrival.
• A salon style showing of key pieces from the Miss Money Penny range
• A Hit the town Makeover - A make up consultation using mineral cosmetics that are vegan certified.
• Tension Buster Massage – Seated massage focusing on the head, neck and shoulders. 
• Express Manicure - Nail file and application of nail polish or  hand massage. 
• Style Establishment Mini Consultation with leading image consultant and personal stylist Bronwyn Fraser
