Guidelines
Photographic Guidelines
- The better your product looks, and the more detail you can show, the better chance of selling your item fast.
- On your digital camera, please photograph item on a white background (a sheet is fine) or dark background for light coloured items.
- Make sure the shot is well lit and shows length of garments as well as any fabric and other detail.
- Ensure the image has plain background with nothing else cluttering the image.
- Mannequin is best but hung or laid flat for jeans/pants also fine. Jeans/pants – side-on
- Show any detail (eg. close ups of lace trim)
- Set camera to a medium resolution (eg 1024x768 pixels or 200dpi)
- Deep etched (no background with white space around) is ideal if your camera has an editing program to do this.

Pricing your item
As a general rule,
start with 50% of original purchase price if the item is near new or still has tags. For gently worn items in good condition,
around 25% of RRP is advisable. This may vary from item to item and is
up to you the seller.
You set the price but the more realistic for the buyer the faster you
will sell. If your item is not selling you may revise the price at any
time by advising MMP via email. If the item has been on the site for 90
days and has not sold, it gets de-listed. You may re-subit the following
season which might be more appropriate.
Tip - If unsure about pricing Look at the other items on the site
as a guide and think about what you would pay for this pre-owned item.
